hi, i'm back. but not for long.

it's twenty ten.

2 days after i moved away from this space, i lost one of my bestest friend. everything seemed to spiral out of control after that. i felt like i wasn't the same person anymore. that unfortunate incident changed the way i think, my habits and more. it brought me closer to the sweetest people i've ever known who i will forever cherish and love. but somehow, there's still a missing piece in my heart.

i think i like myself best in secondary school, when i stayed strong to my beliefs & was what they say "miss goody-two-shoes". however, people didn't really like me back then. somehow i feel that people like me more when i'm bitchier or something, idk.

all my life i feel as though i'm not allowed to feel the way i'm really feeling inside. it felt more like i was obliged to reciprocate what others are feeling so as not to dampen their moods or something. like i’m not allowed to feel what i really feel - that i’m not allowed to feel sad because i’m supposed to be happy like them and i’m not allowed to be happy because they are feeling sad.

it felt wrong to show that i’m sad, how is that even fair?

& now, it's the forth day of twenty ten. time passes so quickly it scares me.

for a very long time i've been seeking, praying, dreaming for someone who loves me more than he loves himself - he who will send me morning texts, accompany me through the afternoon, numb all my pain by evening and leave me smiling in my sleep.

but still, i am empty.

This is zee real deal.

I went home to change after civ pro tutorial and the plan was to go Orchard Ion with Ponyz & Unicornz. BUT! When I reached home, a yellow envelope found me:

"HAHA SUCKER LOSER TTM (:"

It was the ticket to a "birthday amazing race", WHALAO. HAHA. But I was honestly damn eggcitedzz ttm! So, the instructions were (after decoding) - to leave the house @ 2pm and head to Party City @ City Hall and I was supposed to say:

"HI! I'M A DWARF AND TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY!"

in order to collect a gift/task + get the next letter. Oh, and I must also document my adventure on camera. Lol. I'm not gonna post those photos here cos they're so totally unglam ttm! HAHA.

So I did what I was told and I received a "Happy Birthday Princess" + awsm prweety butterfly helium balloons ♥

The next clue, again after decoding, reads to travel to Fullerton Hotel and find the "river cruise ticketing booth" & OMG! I was in for a 30 mins boat ride along the Singapore River! It was damn funny, I felt like a tourist! and a retard trying to take a photo of myself on the cruise. LOL.

NEXT, was the epic fail ttm one! I was supposed to travel to Velocity to get a full manicure and pedicure. But apparently, Nailsclinique and Pets Kampong swopped units and the mall did not update the directory, so I ended up at Pets Kampong & said the "Hi Dwarf birthday" thingy. Strangely, the guy said: "Oh, you're here to collect the dwarf bunny!" *FAINTS* For a mo, I thought they bought me a rabbit, but the lady insisted I present some form of verification. I was so damn blur cos I was just as blind as they were, since I was still doing the race and could rely on nothing but the clues. So I called Vic and we realised the mix-up! OMG DAMN PAISEH. HAHA.

So I finally ended up at the right place and I totally adore my nails naow ♥

The last clue led me to Ichiban Boshi downstairs where I was greeted with a resounding Happy Birthday song and an assortment of cakes from Cedele ♥ Dinner was so damn awsm!

A group of people celebrating their friends' 21st saw the big board I was carrying + balloons and they shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAN!" HAHA. Pony suggested to take a photo with them and I did. Then THEY suggested that I took a photo with their birthday boy! HAHA.

I was asked what I'd like for my birthday.

I thought about it
& I realised that:

I've had birthday parties and partied in clubs;

I've been to fancy restaurants (even randomly);

I've too many clothes, shoes, bags, the latest handphones, itouch;

I've holidayed in pretty places, stayed in s'pore's high class hotels...

and the list goes on.

The point is,
I have EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. What more could I ask for?

Then it struck me,

what I'm missing in life is a soulmate.

But that's not something I can ask for right?

But if I could,

please let him have a British accent, is well-spoken,

chivalrous, thoughtful, kind, sweet and gentle...

loves kids but loves me more not to want to make babies.

We left the city of Hobart and drove up to Bicheno, making a few AWSM pitstops on the way (:

Upon arrival, we were presented with a bucket of mini cadbury bars (all sorts!) & were asked to take as many as we liked.. I took 2.

After paying for the tour, we were given a BOX of cadbury chocolates! O: AWSM.

I didn't realise until we reached the ticketing counter that it was the premiere day of T:RotF = SOLD OUT! Lucky they still had availability for the next session though it were 2nd row seats. Oh wells, beggars can't be choosers (; AND! Kiddies were still on their June break, so you can imagine how immature they acted in the cinema HMMM. Anyhowz! The movie was actually quite good! I actually enjoyed it. J is naow in love with Megan Fox LOL!

Oh lord, I think we spent 17 hours to travel to Hobart, Tasmania from S'pore! So spent by the time we reached the hotel, but equally (if not, MORE) eggcited! (: so we dumped our bags & luggages @ the Salamanca Inn & walked to the Salamanca Market! which operates every Saturday. It's like a flea market plus awesome food!

S & I visited Swensen's two days in a row O: Today, we went for the Student's Special!

Fictitious, yet I wish it were true.

WIDE AWAKE.

“Come on.” I said, patting the bed in front of me. She eyed the spot in front of me dubiously for a moment, but eventually closed her book, and laid it on the couch beside her. Slowly, she rose up off the sofa and shuffled her way over to the bed.

Once she reached the edge, she pressed her palms down on the mattress and climbed up, crawling over to the piece of bed in front of me. She was looking at me skeptically as she mirrored my position on the bed, sitting Indian style with her legs crossed, so close our knees were touching. I wanted to snicker at her again, I couldn’t help it. She looked so much like a little girl about to learn something new, wide eyed and nervous as fuck. But I couldn’t laugh at my girl. It was something new to her. A kiss to her was probably pretty fucking scandalous.

I scooted closer to her, so that her knees were overlapping mine and took in a deep breath. Her face was flushed and she was nervous, but I could see the flash of excitement in her eyes. It only made her look cuter. I fought the urge to chuckle yet again.

“Close your eyes.” I ordered softly. When she let them flutter closed I added, “And relax.” She did infinitesimally. I leaned into her and put my hands on either side of her hips on the mattress so I could hold myself closer. She looked fucking tense still, but there wasn’t anything I could do about it now. I leaned in until my nose was nearly touching hers, and I could feel her breathing pick up against my face.

Easily, to test her a bit, I tilted my head and gently grazed her lips with mine. She was completely fucking frozen. I rolled my eyes and lifted one of my hands and cupped her cheek to relax her face, rubbing her cheek with my thumb. It did the trick. She finally eased up and her lips slightly parted.

I tried it again, leaning my head to the side and grazing her lips. This time she responded. Softly pouting her lips to me. I gently took her top lip in between mine, and she took my bottom in hers. It was soft, and warm, just like my girl always was. I pulled away gently, but went back again, to give her something firmer. She seemed to get the gist of the whole thing, taking my bottom lip with slightly more vigor. I pulled her face to mine harder with my hand, and tangled it into her hair, gently sucking on her top lip, then pulled away slightly again. We did that a couple more times, just soft and easy. It was all I was expecting. But suddenly on the last one, I felt Bella’s soft warm tongue touch my lip.

I was debating if I should really do all that. Then I reminded myself I was doing this for Bella, and if she wanted the full kissing experience, fuck it… I would give it to her. So I darted my tongue out to meet hers. And when they touched she parted her lips more and took my tongue into her mouth. It was so fucking warm and soft, and it was getting progressively more difficult to keep that switch in the off position. Then I felt her soft little hand slide up my arm and around my neck, until she had it tangled into the back of my head pulling me closer. And then she was kissing me like a pro. Pressing her soft little tongue into mine, gently at first, then harder, then she was in my mouth. And we were both breathing pretty fucking hard by then, and I didn’t even have to press her head closer, because her little fist was pressing my face as close as it would go. But when she began pressing her body against mine, that switched just fucking flipped. And before I could stop it, my entire body was reacting to the kiss. I brought my other hand up and pulled her neck closer. I felt her warm body against me, almost in my lap. I groaned, loudly into her mouth, and I froze.

I used my hands to gently push myself from her grasp, and leaned back into my spot panting. Feeling really fucking thankful I had that sketchbook in my lap. Bella didn’t move from her spot or even open her eyes for a few moments. Just sat there with her hands on her lap catching her breath and licking my taste off her lips.

When she finally caught her breath and opened her eyes, she smiled at me. Big and fucking goofy as hell. And I rolled my eyes at her and smiled back. She looked like someone just told her Santa was real or some shit, and she chuckled a little bit at me for the eye roll, but I didn’t care.

She didn’t say anything or make it awkward, just hopped under the covers on her side of the bed. Ready to go to sleep. My… situation… was abated by then, so I discarded the sketch book and got under the covers right along with her. I turned the lamp off and scooped up my girl, shoving my face into her hair, and showing her that someone could touch her. And I could almost hear her smile when she started humming me to sleep. No more angry, no more sad, and no more bitter.

A little background to this story: Bella is suffering from some post-traumatic disorder whereby she cannot be near men i.e. she'll go hysterical even at the slightest contact with men. Sometimes, you just have to get lost

I want a job so badly and I can't believe this one thing that I can't help about myself is preventing me from getting the job AND to think I was just starting to get over the fact that I'm so imperfect. I thought the only thing it would hinder me from is becoming a SIA Stewardess (which is still something I'd still want to be if there isn't so much of a stereotyping issue), but I was wrong.

This is just so weird.

I've been trying not to re-read the Twilight Series, but I couldn't help myself! I do have a lot of unread books, like one day, I tried to read The Age of Innocence (get back in touch with my literature roots) but I just couldn't! My mind automatically floats back to the Twilight Series. I guess what's in the series are what I'm missing in my life and I'm just desperately trying to hold on to the one thing that keeps me connected to all these missing parts.

Y'know, my thoughts doesn't seem to flow as smoothly once I begin typing here. It sounded waaay much better when I was thinking about it during the day and some days before. Sucky much. But that's just me huh?

A crazier fairytale outing (;

We flew & galloped to Tamp1 for brunch @ Subway, explored Tamp1, got annoyed at Uniqlo, ate dessert at Manpuku (the new Japanese marche-like place), munched on Mr. Bean, finally deciding to mrt down to Vivo.

Dental Appointment @ 10am to collect my retainers, have to keep it on for a month (except when I eat/brush teeth). After a month, I will only have to wear it at night. But for now, it hurts like fuckkk ):

Vic met me after her medical check-up and we headed to Taka for zee UK Sale (Topshop, Warehouse, Miss Selfridge, etc), it's like up to 70%! Bought 2 dresses @ a total of $58 (u.p. total of $200+), what a steal! I know, right. Kekex. Then it was lunch time!

We were so amazed by how much the place has changed!
