pineapple tarts & kueh lapis ♥
first day of zee 牛 year! & the girls dressed to our Peranakan roots (:

... to Ah Ma's house for lunch (: Haha.

Lunch was yummy - FRIED RICE accompanied with: Chicken Curry, Lor Bak, Hae Chor, Fried Meatballs, Sambal Prawns, Stir-fried Vegetables and Abalone & Scallop Soup.
& the day ended @ Mama's (:

Mama didn't know we were wearing Kebaya tops as it was meant to be a surprise.. I think we made her day! (: (: (: Haha. She whipped out her sarongs for us to take pictures! HAHAHA. Yeah, we only bought the kebaya top as we're too poor ): Lol! The sarong Mama gave me is antique kay! Mama wore it when she was 17 or 18 & it's MINE now. HEHE.
I played Wii with Russell (my P2 cousin) then started to cam-whore with Ryan (my K2 cousin) while waiting for dinner. My cousins all so young please. HAHAHA.
This is where the fun begins!
Ryan was SO afraid we will REALLY kiss him!
Ryan was so tickled by the way we cam-whored, he became our camera man! Ahaha.
Then it was dinner time & I discovered 4 more cousins! O: though we're not really blood-related, I think.. it's a long story. BUT THEY'RE SUCH FUN PEOPLE! We so need to hangout someday. Hahaha.
Our Peranakan dinner consisted of:
Babi Pongteh, Beef Rendang, Ayam Masak Merah,
Kiam Chye Soup, Ter Dou (Pig Stomach) Soup, Chap Chye Soup,
Ayam Buah Keluak, Steamed Fish, Stir-fried Leek with Tofu
& abundance of sambal belachan.
Haha PEOPLE, aren't you jealous I'm a Peranakan? HEHE.

My Godma's house (Marc's Godma makes awesome pineapple tarts!). Mum's Godma's house. Kohpo Julie's House - Lim Family Gathering + mini TP Gathering (HAHA we all tend to end up @ TP!). Nice mee siam + Tau Suan.
