My Weekend Escapades.
{FRIDAY}
Vic, J & I bused down to tm for dinner @ Mac's. I had the Grilled Chicken Foldover. & OMG. When Vic & I were waiting for our orders, there was this tiny baby cockroach scuttling across the counter! Gross! & when we told the person who took our order, she just gave a 'urgh' face. Wth! & the guy who set our order on the tray, he flicked the cockroach off the counter. Gross I tell ya, gross! Ewww.
Thereafter, Vic did her stress-shopping & I bought her an early Bday presie! A C&K bag. Lol! Mummy met us after work & we went to Mac's again for her dinner. Haha. Cos we didn't plan to meet! & she happened to feel like eating Mac's.. So yeah.. Then Vic & I wanted to eat desserts, specifically, we wanted to eat crepe & ice-cream! So I finally got to try the crepes at Crepes House. I had the Green Tea & Red Bean Crepe.
Erms. It costs $5.50 & I absolutely didn't like the crepe. The one at Shokudo is a 1000 times better. But the ice-cream & the red bean is okay la. I'd still eat it again, but given a choice, Shokudo is still the one for me :D
Then we went supermarketing & we decided to buy cheese & crackers as Mummy brought back our favourite Italian wine - Moscato d'Asti Gancia. So that night, we had wine, cheese & crackers and... mooncake! Wahaha. The mooncakes were from Goodwood Park Hotel. Honestly Mummy, you should have just bought the Swissotel ones. Haha! The mooncakes were just normal. Lol.
{SATURDAY}
Hard Rock Cafe.
Woooh. This my friends, is the highlight of the weekend. Haha. I totally dig this place.
The outside & the inside.
[Pina Colada & Green Tuborg]
The only 2 alcholic drinks that night. This was my 1st time trying the Pina Colada & I daresay that after my maiden try, I'm so gonna try the Pina Colada ice-cream @ Gelatissimo! Ahaha. I think it makes a really good ice-cream flavour! I'm serious! It's okay as a drink, but better off as ice-cream seriously. I don't think I would order it as a drink. Haha. Mummy ordered this, btw. Oh and the Green Tuborg.. I think it's the best beer I've ever drank. I totally hate beer, but I think this brand's not too bad for my taste. We also had their special Cecil Iced Tea & a Lemonade :D Both nice!
[Homemade HRC Nachos, Hickory Smoked Wings, BBQ Trio Combo & Chicken Quesadillas]
ZOMG. The food were all so glorious!
The Nachos are certified comfort food manz! Even Vic who didn't like Nachos, ate loads of it!
I didn't try the wings but was told that the wings were not that fantastic cos it's smoked. They prefered fried la, paiseh. Haha.
Okay the smoked trio combo contains BBQ Ribs, Chicken & Beef Brisket. I didn't try the ribs but heard it's really tender. The chicken is shiok but a tad dry.. Should have more bbq sauce leh. Haha. My favourite is the beef! But it's a tad tough at some parts. Haha.
Last but not least, the quesadillas! Actually this was ordered after our desserts (below!) cos someone's mouth still itchy and Vic wanted to try it anyways.. So we ordered it! Muahaha. & it's yummy! It's like the nachos, only softer & there's chicken. Haha.
Okay time for a break from food! :D

[HRC Brownie & Mudpie]
ZOMG ZOMG. These are one hell of desserts! Haha. Mummy & Vic absolutely adored the brownie, though I found it just normal. Haha. I think I prefer fudgy brownies. Hehe.
BUT! The mudpie was absolutely gorgeous! Love love it so so much! Ahaha.
Oh! I forgot to say the reason why we came here! Haha. For me, it's to check out the place. But we came here also cos Mummy's friend, Alan, performs here every Sat & Mon. He performs with his band, Enigma. I think they're really cool! The theme of the preformance was retro night. I thought the music was not too bad but Vic didn't really enjoy.. So we left at 11.30pm. The perfomance starts at 103.0pm on Sat.
{SUNDAY}
It was a stay-home day, except for a short trip to the Book Sale at Expo. Haha.

Okay this was not eaten today. I discovered a new delicacy. Muahaha. No la. It's just cold sliced hardboiled eggs & sambal sardine. It's really good! & you must eat it cold! & you can't find it anywhere cos Mummy made the sardine and Shirley boiled the eggs. HAHA!
& I played WII today. OMG. It's damn funny. Haha! Esp racing! Haha.
