Pagi Sore +
Corduroy Cafe.

Mummy, Rosie, J, Vic & I met for dinner @ Pagi Sore. Let's compare it to House of Sundanese ("HOS")! Haha.

Here they charge for the crackers & belachan, unlike HOS.
Eee. Stingy!

Bak Zhang without the Bak! Haha.
It's just the way they serve the rice lah. Hmmm. Prefer HOS, cos yellow rice can never beat white rice, unless you're eating Japanese. Haha!

Ayam Panggang + Beef Rendang
Both not bad!

Sayur Lodeh
Okay lah. It's a vegetable curry dish, can't expect much. Haha.

Tahu Telor
Oh man. It tastes the same everywhere lah. Haha. Cos I love it! :D

Ayam Bali
J's recommendation. Definitely better than HOS.

Ikan Otah Kukus
This is nice! A little spicy, and I love spicy. Haha.

Ikan Bakar Bali
Hmmm. Sorry, but I have to say, HOS wins hands down.

Chendol
Okay, M ordered this. I stole all the red beans, that's all. Haha.

Then we headed to Corduroy Cafe for dessert & to meet Bernard (to celebrate his birthday in advance!). M visited Corduroy & Finch, the main branch @ Bukit Timah and said the Whiskey Milkshake & Dessert Platter were to die for. Unfortunately, before she could take us there, it closed down! I read the bad news in the Life! Section of The Sunday Times a few weeks back. Bummer. That's why we had to settle for the outlet @ Vivo City, which was quite a disappointment. Here's why:

Bailey's Milkshake
Special order. They didn't have the Whiskey one which the Bukit Timah branch had!

Plus, they didn't have the Dessert Platter and they didn't have ALL the desserts on the menu. The ones available were only the ones on display, which were SO limited!

Tiramisu + Panna Cotta
The tiramisu was not too bad. V liked the panna cotta.

Chocolate Truffle +
(background) "Hazelnut Chocolate" (can't rmb the actual name)

We chose this as B's birthday cake, which was not bad too! Didn't like the hazelnut one.

"Hot Chocolate Cake" (can't rmb the actual name for this either)
It's kinda like a molten cake. Not really that nice lah.
Yup. So it isn't a really good place and I think HOS is much better than Pagi Sore. Only the ayam @ Pagi Sore can beat HOS' ayam. Haha.

But anyway, great company never fails to surpass everything & anything.
So it was still a lovely night :)
