Aston's Specialties.
Okay, the Dad decided to take the kids out for lunch & he chose this place. So, okay. Ahaha. I was more attracted to Kim Choo (A Perankan restaurant) a few units down. But oh wells.
We had an interesting encounter with this rather attractive waiter. He started off by rambling his recommendation from the menu. Guess what it is? He recommended FISH in a STEAKhouse. Vic & I were like question marks all over. He was like "It's really good & it's healthy! Would you like to try it?" LOLS. So cute.
Later on, I had difficulties choosing my two sides. So he said, "How about the tasty rice? It's rice that is tasty!" Vic & I were like ZOMGZ. But he's sooo cute!
My order in the end:Prime Rib-eye, Roasted Veggie & baked potato
Honestly I wanted to order the Prime Tenderloin, my prefered cut. But it was kinda expensive compared to what my Dad & siblings ordered, like twice the price, and i didn't feel it was nice to order expensive stuff when Dad's paying. Like abit paiseh. But then again, it's also rather strange to feel paiseh with your family right? Hmmm. LOL. Oh man! I feel so bad now cos I always spend so much with Mummy. Sorry Mummy! I love you!
Dad ordered Pepper Steak, Iggy ordered Sirloin (Background).
So all our orders came but Vic's Pepper Steak was taking a helluva long time. So Dad asked them to check with the kitchen. After awhile, the cute waiter told us that her order got cancelled accidentally. He kept saying sorry sorry! Vic was like "It's okay man, really. Chill." But he kept returning to say sorry & he even offered her Eclipse Mint from his apron pocket! So Cute.Com! ZOMG. & later he came with a complimentary side of Onion Rings which were piping hot! Great service man. Haha.
After lunch, Vic & I met Mummy at Raffles City for the Topshop sales. Me bought a top + an accessory for the wrist :) We had Yoguru + Cedele. Vic couldn't wait to eat the Almond Mango Cake (Look out for tmr's post!), so she ordered a slice today. Loser. Oh I also bought gorgeous slippers from Sole Lovers!
Then we had go to church. Awww. But it was an interesting day! Aston's is okay for budget steaks I guess. My taste abit atas lah, cos I ate at Lawry's before! Hehe. & I wanna try Morton's please :)
