Suki Sushi Buffet @ Cineleisure

Met Chun Hui for loads of catching up! Been ages since we last saw each other! We decided to have the Suki Sushi Buffet, we started @ around 2pm & stayed all the way till the end. If we were any later, I swear we would have to queue and wait! The crowd started swarming after 2pm! Best to go @ 12 I supposed. Haha.

Oh man I wished I could have eaten more! I thought I ate alot but in the end I think I only ate about 10 plates! But since we could order $1.90 to $4.90 items, I still ate my money's worth.. Double, in fact! So proud of myself :D

Well, I can't say whether the food here is top grade or not cos I'm not really an expert. But I thought it was pretty good for the amount I was paying. The sashimi tasted really good IMO & IMHO I think here's waaaaaaaaaaay better than Sakae in terms of price, variety and taste.

Here's a look @ what I had:

ps. free flow of juices! I had LIME. It was how I like my lime juices :) Impressive! Lol.

Hana Maki Lobster + Salmon Sashimi
I actually thought the Hana Maki here is better than Sushi Tei's! :O Amazing! Cos it's topped with lobster & you can actually bite & chew the lobster, it's not those mushy cheapo type. AND! The sashimi is THICK & fresh! ZOMG. Orgasmic. Lol!

Unagi Maki
Okay, this was a mistake. Wasted my calories :( So much rice. Carbs! Eww.

Spicy Salmon
It was good, same as Sakae's.

If I hadn't ordered that Unagi Maki, I could have stomach for another plate of this :(

Yaki Tori
This was lovely! It's meaty, not filled with fats! & the teriyaki sauce is nice :)

Cold Tofu
Not too bad.. But I think the Agedashi Tofu would be more tasty!

Salmon Inari (Mine) + Tuna Inari (Chun Hui's)
Okay, my babes know I love Inaris! But the ones here, please remind me to pass. Cos it's not stuffed with salmon/etc., it's only a layer on top with loads or rice beneath. Carbs! Ewww again.

Chawanmushi
Okay, I was pretty stuffed already but I was shivering cold (*Note to self, bring a cardigan next time!), so I ordered something hot which made me warmer thankfully :D & it tasted good too! It actually had generous fillings! I was even surprised to find chicken underneath & it was really chicken with no fatty meat. Mmm. I'm impressed! Hehe.
