来来红烧牛肉面 (Lai Lai Family Restaurant)
&
Ice monster @ Bencoolen Street.

Okay, I designed today's food adventure :D Theme: Taiwan. Supposedly, it was just me & J. But I'm glad 3 others decided to join :) So my makan kakis for the evening were C, P, J & Mummy :)

First up, TW Beef Noodles! There was this 4-person Special Set Meal where each person can choose 1 main, 1 side + 1 drink from quite a good selection for $48++. Yeah, I know there's 5 of us. Well, no stress! Just order 1 more main course solves everything :)


Side Dish 1 - Century Egg & Tofu; Side Dish 2 - Grilled Eel
Tried the eel, it was awesome!

Side Dish 3 - Salt Pepper Chicken
Mummy didn't really liked it :( she said Shilin one nicer! Hehe.

Side Dish 4 - Fried Beancurd (with a garlicky chilli dip)
Nice!

There were 2 orders of Red Milk Tea which came with pearls (no photos). Too much red tea, can't really taste the milk, but it was okay :)

Ahh. Here comes the star of the show!

Specialty Beef Noodle (Dry, TW Noodles)
This is my main :) Loved it. The beef is UBER tender! It comes with a bowl of beef soup which is HEAVEN. It's a beefy soup, a little spicy, just the way I like it. Hmm. But the noodles were abit floury. I should try other kinds of noodles next time :) I rmb there was 'potato noodles'! Haha. Interesting~

Pork Cutlet Rice
Don't know how it tasted like, but heard Mummy say that the Pork no taste :X Lol! Must ask J whether nice or not :p

C ordered the Spicy Fish Noodles, didn't take photo cos she was seated quite far away, lazy to stretch. Haha!

Yam & Red Bean, Milk Shaved Ice
This was my order. AWESOMENESS. I can eat this everyday! Very generous with the toppings! All comes in 2 sizes, regular & large, I think. Or small & regular. Whatever. Haha!

Okay, the four adults shared the next 2 desserts.. Can't rmb the actual names, so I'll just describe! :D
