Banana-Raisin Oat Bran Muffins

Due to the fast-approaching expiry date of my oat bran, I quickly searched for a Oat Bran Muffin recipe. Alas, I found one & it turned out lovely :)

Wakashachiya @ The Central

Things didn't go out as planned, but it was okay :) I still managed to visit Wakashachiya which actually specialises in Curry Udon. However, what caught my attention was their Hitsu-Mabushi. Actually, the Unagi Cold Udon appealed to me too, but I couldn't have both, could I? :(

Hitsu-Mabushi is simply Unagi with sweetened sauce over rice. But what's interesting is that there are 3 methods are eating it! The laminated card shows you how to do it!

1. On it's own
2. With seaweed, spring onions & wasabi (see the plate on the left?)
3. Chazuke-style: drenched in dashi (the small 'urn' thingy in the middle)

Overall, it was okay :) I prefer Method 2! I was surprised how well Unagi went with spring onions! Haha.

They say 'Men does not live on bread alone...'
Well, I say:
Vanny can live on sushi (Japanese food) alone!
HEHE.

NO! But still she needs her greens! Ah.
Well, there's always the side salads :D

W890i, when will our paths cross?
