Bistro Walk @ TP

Denise & Yu Qing managed to get seats @ our student-operated bistro, so Peck Ki & I joined them for lunch.

I wanted the Roast Chicken Sandwich, but was told that they only had Tuna. But Tuna wasn't even on the menu! So, whatever.. Tuna it shall be then.

It was served on Foccacia bread with lettuce, tomatoes & cucumber with chips on the side. It cost me $3.

OMG.

$3 could have gotten me something good and definitely more satisfying. Example, nasi padang/cai fan. I could have gotten beef rendang! TERRIBLE. The Foccacia tasted NOTHING like Foccacia and the Tuna filling was so miserly, I think Bake Inc. (Tampines Mart's bakery) are more generous with theirs. Plus, according to Yu Qing, the chips had already 'lao hong-ed' i.e. not crispy.

Although Yu Qing enjoyed her dessert of the day - Carrot Cake, I'm never ever going to step into there again. Well, maybe only for the waffles.

TSK.
